Alberta is still attracting more people to our great province. Although the numbers are down from recent years, we are still an attractive, affordable place to call home. There is a lag in the statistics provided and the graph is for the 2nd quarter of 2025. I would estimate that given the recent surge in the price of oil and the positive outlook that provides for investment and employment opportunities, we should continue to attract people to our province. The talk of separation does however creates uncertainty for those considering moving to Alberta and increases the risk when corporations are considering investing in Alberta. Hopefully this will blow over soon.
